Outdoor markets are popping up all over NYC! From flea to food and drink markets, we’ve put together a round-up of the best markets to visit this summer. Make a day out of it and take it all in. Check back for new additions!
FLEA MARKETS
Greenpoint Terminal Market
If you’re looking for a fun, creative, one-of-a-kind marketplace, look no further than the Greenpoint Terminal Market! Their outdoor space is packed with over 100 vendors, featuring delicious food and local shops.

Chelsea Flea
Rain or shine, the Chelsea Flea Market is the perfect place to look for antiques, collectibles, and vintage items with 5o-60 vendors filling the space.

Days/Times: Every Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 5pm
Hester Flea
The Hester Flea market is a smaller version of Chelsea Flea, containing 15 shopping vendors and 3-4 food vendors.
Location: 26 Essex Street New York, NY 10002
Days/Times: Every Saturday, 11am to 6pm
Brooklyn Flea
The Brooklyn Flea Market changes locations depending on the day. On Saturdays it resides in Williamsburg and on Sundays it travels to Dumbo. They have hundreds of vendors, all specializing in different areas. If you’re looking for furniture, clothing, arts and crafts, food, and whatever else you can think of, they most likely have it.

Grand Bazaar
Reopening after their 15th-month hiatus, The Grand Bazaar is an outdoor market filled with local independent merchants. They have weekly special events/themes as well.

Artists & Fleas Williamsburg
The well-known taste maker marketplace is the best setting to embrace your creative side. Those in seek of a trendy artistic showcase where creators and customers are able to interact needn’t look any further.
Location: 70 N 7th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11249
Days/Times: Saturdays and Sundays, 11am to 6pm
Artists & Fleas Industry City
Artists & Fleas second location is in Industry City. Giant white tents are set up in a beautiful courtyard making this the ideal summer spot.

Artists & Fleas Chelsea
Their third setup is inside Chelsea Market. It is directly under the Highline so you can enjoy stunning views of the city after visiting.

Days/Times: Friday-Sunday, 11am to 7pm.
Brooklyn Popup at Brooklyn Museum
Taking place outside the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Pop-up market features a variety of homemade one-of-a-kind items. Now you can enjoy a fun trip to the museum paired with a craft fair.

Bushwick Market
For a fun and relaxing weekend make sure to gather up a few friends and walk around the Bushwick Market! Filled with great finds, you never know what kind of goodies you’ll uncover.

Fordham Flea
A slew of vendors gather in Fordham Plaza to sell thousands of unique items. There is no better place to have fun while supporting dozens of small businesses. Click here to RSVP for free.

FAD Market Governors Island
The FAD Market features a rotating lineup of over 30 vendors selling one-of-a-kind handcrafted jewelry, art, apparel, bath and body care, tableware, home furnishings, and more. The tree-lined setting doesn’t hurt as well.
Location: Governors Island, King Avenue
Days/Times: Third weekend of month, June 19th – October 17th, 11am-5pm
FOOD & DRINK MARKETS
Smorgasburg WTC
Smorgasburg is the largest open-air food market in America. Millions of visitors have tried the trendiest food NYC has to offer.
Location: The Oculus in the World Trade Center, Fulton, and Church Street
Days/Times: Every Friday, 11am to 7pm
Smorgasburg Williamsburg
Smorgasburg makes its way to Williamsburg, the most popular setting out of the three. There is nothing better than eating delicious food, staring out at the skyline, and sitting on the waterfront. It is often very crowded, but for good reason!

Smorgasburg Prospect Park
The Smorgasburg Sunday location is in the center of Prospect Park. It is filled with just as many delicious food vendors as their other two locations, as well as plenty of picnic tables (for those quick enough to grab one).

Queens Night Market
Queens Night Market not only has amazing food and drink options but also has several cultural performances a night. The outdoor space encourages people to come from all over to explore art, music, and dance.

Queens Night Market Outpost
Returning for their third season, the Queens Night Market Outpost is in the heart of NYC. Enjoy yourself as you shop, dine, peruse the art.

Bronx Night Market
The Bronx Night Market is an outdoor festival packed with entertainment, delicious eats, and fun events. Make sure to RSVP for free tickets to make sure you are guaranteed in.

Uptown Night Market
Every second Thursday of the month the Uptown Night Market will celebrate West Harlem’s community, culture, and cuisine. Attendees will enjoy a carefully curated selection of food, drinks, and performers. Tickets are free so if you are interested, RSVP here. *Opening night postponed to August 12th.
