Join us as we ride from our Nolita shop, along the Eastside, to the Japan Society. Upon arrival we’ll get a brief overview on the Society’s building—designed by architect Junzo Yoshimura, followed by an introduction to the show and a self-guided tour through the building and their featured exhibit, A Third Gender: Beautiful Youths in Japanese Prints (admission included).
From there, we will head back downtown to Green Fingers Market, which was launched by Japanese plant artist Satoshi Kawamoto. A tour of the market and the inspiration behind it will be lead by their team.
To properly wrap up, SOTO Sake will provide tastings back at tokyobike.
If you don’t own a tokyobike, don’t worry, you can still join us. Rentals will be available for $25 but based on availability so please email us here to reserve yours.
This ride is FREE.
Limited to 10 participants only.
Distance: 6 miles roundtrip
