Have you ever gone out for a night knowing full well you’re going to make awful decisions about the food you’re going to eat and not regret any of it? Postmates kind of made that happen for us.

Postmates is a  delivery service which brings items to your doorstep, from lunch and dinner eats to grocery items like eggs/dairy and greens.  Last week, we were invited to celebrate Postmates “We Get It” campaign, where they commiserate with New Yorkers via funny sayings that relate to takeout, like “You’d make dinner but your bathroom is in your kitchen. We get it.”

From the minute you walked into Tacombi, where the event was held, you were greeted with side dish offerings of theirs like chips and some incredible guacamole, and tacos with fillings like fried cod, beans and squash, or steak and chicken.

Other vendors were scattered at tables around the massive room. Shake Shack spread all the cheeseburgers you could eat across their table, while The Meatball Shop offered some buffalo chicken balls with ranch topping. Halal Guys had some ice cream cup-sized servings of killer hummus with pita for dipping, and By Chloe served their Cashew Mac & Cheese with Shiitake Bacon (which is almost better than the mac itself).

And for dessert? Momofuku Milk Bar brought their infamous birthday cake truffles, which people definitely pocketed to bring home too.

For those who wanted to imbibe, servers were scattered across the room with beer and wine, and the center bar offered two variations of margaritas—one smoky, one regular, and both equally delicious.

The campaign comes with weeks of free delivery deals from those at the party:

Week of 4/23—Milk

Week of 4/30—The Meatball Shop

Week of 5/7—By Chloe

Week of 5/14—Tacombi

Be sure to keep an eye out for their new ads, and take advantage of their free delivery deals while you can! You can start here!
