The Kentucky Derby stands as one of the biggest horse races in the World. Aside from the races, style and culture paint the picture of a scene that rivals a down south Easter Sunday.
The 3rd Annual OG Theory Derby Party will be at The VNYL, an east village venue that pays homage to vintage NYC life andupon entering is like taking a walk into a time portal and ending up in the 70’s. The Derby Party is The OG Theory’s staple event as it embodies the culture and lifestyle that the brand exudes through paying homage to classic times and lifestyle. What better marriage than to host this years event at a venue that has the same energy and vibe.
Brunch will be offered from 2-4pm to give guests the opportunity to enjoy cuisine before the revelry begins. During this time multi faceted artist @amorousabyss will be taking pictures of guests for his ongoing portrait series that uses flowers to tell stories.
From 5-10pm The tunes will be spinning, the drinks will be flowing and the fun will be had. The Kentucky Derby, called “the most exciting 2 minutes in Sports” will be shown on a 30 ft projection screen at 6:30pm sharp.
There will be surprises throughout the day as well and photographers will be snapping away throughout the duration of the event. Though we can’t smoke indoor’s we will be puffing stogies in the front and The OG Theory Cigars will be for sale per usual!
