Established in 2005, the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival is New York City’s largest Hip-Hop cultural event that showcases the positive aspects of Hip-Hop culture by highlighting Hip-Hop’s legacy as an agent of artistic progression, community building and social change.

In addition to musical performances, the Festival offers a number of activities for its audience, including: panel discussions, exhibitions, parties, film screenings and a family-friendly block party. The Festival is more than a concert or outdoor fair. It is a family reunion for lovers of this great culture. Four days of beats, rhymes, knowledge, film, photography, MCs, DJs, B-Boys, B-Girls, food, fashion and more.

July 13th – The Hip-Hop Institute.
Lectures, panels, and workshops dedicated to the study and advancement of issues of entrepreneurship and criminal justice in our community.

July 14th – The Dummy Clap Film Festival.
A celebration of Hip-Hop as told through the moving image. Screenings of old school films, documentaries, and shorts. As well as Masters Classes from leading filmmakers both indie and major.

July 15th – JUICE Hip Hop Exhibition
Juice celebrates the legacy of hip hop by gathering the next wave of young emerging dancers, deejays, mc’s, beat makers, sneakerheads, and visual/graffiti artists to convene on one platform and showcase each element simultaneously their talent through our exhibitions for one night, one show, one culture: Dance Showcase, Salute The DJ, MC Showcase, Ewings Sneaker Gallery, and Art Gallery.

July 16th – The Finale Concert
The culmination of our programming. The legendary show that has created unforgettable memories for over a decade. Reunited groups, surprise performances. The place where old school legends share the stage with the next generation’s stars.
