Slate, which some of you might’ve partied at some point since it’s opening in Chelsea, back in 2000, has some new fun additions added in!

For their relaunch night, we partied carnival style and enjoyed specialty cocktails and delicious signature dishes from Executive Chef Darryl Harmon, all while exploring the new bowling lanes, secret karaoke room, BYOB (Be Your Own Bartender) pouring station with 20 adult beverages on tap, and of course a 20 foot slide to go from the top floor to the bottom in seconds. That’s in addition to the usual pingpong and pool tables, Skeeball, pinball and an 8-player foosball table. You can live the night here!

Concept: Established in 2000 and located in the heart of Chelsea, this upscale bar, lounge and club offers something for everyone. Whether it’s a corporate happy hour gathering, birthday, company holiday party or just a night out watching the game with friends, Slate delivers with beers, delicious bites, fun and games mixed with live performances from DJs, comedians and Jazz musicians.

Design: Holding up to 1,600 people, Slate recently underwent a $2 million-dollar facelift. This massive 16,000 square foot adult playground now boasts three bowling lanes, private event spaces on multiple levels, a private karaoke room, a BYOB (Be Your Own Bartender) pouring station with 20 adult beverages on tap and a 20-foot slide to get partygoers from the top floor to ground below without having to lift a foot. That’s in addition to an arcade, ping pong, pool tables, Skee-Ball, pinball, and a new 8-player foosball table. Slate also has 100 TV’s in addition to multiple video walls for endless entertainment accompanied by a Funktion 1 sound system.

Food: Slate’s Executive Chef Darryl Harmon has created a street fare menu designed with upscale bar food in mind featuring favorites like The Grande Nacho, Jumbo NY Pretzels, Avocado Hummus, Philly Cheesesteak Arepas, Southern Chicken Littles, Chicken Wings Confit, Sloppy Joe Beef Taquitos and Maryland Crab Cake Pops. If you’re opting for something healthy, eat your greens with Aristotle’s Greek Salad, Baby Arugula Salad or a Chopped Louie Salad. If you’re in the mood to share something more substantial, try Slate’s Fun Size Burgers, Juicy Lucy Meatballs, Chicken & Hot Waffles, Spicy Tuna Fried Rice or Filet Mignon Toast.

Cocktails: Slate offers a selection of seasonal beers and wines, as well as signature cocktails. The bar boasts a BYOB (Be Your Own Bartender) with beers, cocktails and wine on tap. Some of Slate’s best sellers include the: Fireside Fling with Tanteo Jalapeno Infused Tequila, Agave and Fresh Squeezed Lime Spring Awakening with Hendricks Gin, Grapefruit Liqueur, Simple Syrup, Lime Juice and Muddled Cucumber and Summer Sin with Patron Reposado Tequila, JW Black Label Scotch Whiskey, Honey Syrup, Pineapple Juice and Lime Juice. All signature cocktails are $14.
