Brooklyn welcomed another successful year of the free Sexual Health Expo (SHE) or what most call just the Sex Expo, the weekend of September 22nd, at the Brooklyn Expo Center in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Like last year, the Sex Expo featured many workshops, raffles, presenters, and activities. Essentially a well rounded event with tons of information for all, whether that be on textured vibrators or other tips and tricks. Early arrivals received a goodie bag, containing swag from the various exhibitors at the expo.
When it comes to buying sex toys, especially quality ones, and especially if you’re new to it, you should also be able to ask all the questions you need, there’s plenty of opinions to suggest we shouldn’t delve into the pleasure of these toys, however, the need to stop demonizing adult toys is playing huge importance in today’s society. This event provided the best of that experience, because the sex experts were there at your disposal. In the variety sense, there were new iterations of classics and the more innovative toys. There wasn’t much information regarding sex dolls however, so if you are looking for an adult sex doll then it’s probably best to look online. There were places to customize your own toys though, which was cool. Safe sex was a hot topic of conversation.
The event offered educational workshops throughout the day, which were numerous and sparked new questions, answered by the experts. Topics included Sexual Positions Contest By Desire Resorts, Booty Play Basics sponsored by b-Vibe, The Art of the Blow Job sponsored by Babeland, Lube 101 and Q&A Session with the Pro’s from Sliquid, and The Science Behind the Orgasm presented by Lovehoney. We already can’t wait to check out the Sex Expo again next year!
