We recently got the chance to check out Tentrr, up close and personal, when they launched their new app and celebrated with an outdoor themed party at the Sky Gallery in Manhattan.
You can kind of think of Tentrr (pronounced ten•ter) as the Airbnb for camping, by providing large canvas tents on a private campsite. This means you are able to camp alone, in a group, or with your family and friends. What’s even better are the outdoor activities to take part in, some just 30 minutes within your campsite. If you’re stuck, you can even ask your campsite owner what are the must do things in the area, from hikes and canoeing, to fishing or floating on a tube in the middle of a lake. Every minute you could find yourself enjoying the outdoors.
To portray what you may expect at a campsite, the launch event was fully furnished with everything you would need to go camping. Even the s’mores you would make over the fire pit on those dark starry nights.
Now that Tentrr has a quick and handy app (only currently available on iOS), you can book your camping trip away from the chaos of the city to mountainous views and fresh air, in just a few minutes. The closest campsites are only a 2 hr hour drive away from the city!
Now, lets say you own a big piece of private land! You may also be able to become part of the Tentrr network as a CampKeeper & earn a little extra moola on the side. All you have to do is supply the land and Tentrr supplies the experience with a top notch, fully-equipped camp on your property. Not only this, but they also supply the management tools, such as booking control, a proprietary guest messaging app, and the handling of maintenance issues.
If your looking to experience Tentrr as a Camper or a CampKeeper, head to Tentrr’s website and/or app. Also check out their blog which features activities to do in every season, when it comes to camping. They also share many tips, meetups or discounts on their social media pages.
Bootlegger from Roscoe, NY tied the night together by providing some deliciously rustic themed cocktails.
Happy Camping! 🙂
