We’ve been pretty lucky to stand amongst some badass women as of late – some guided and inspired by generations that came before, others the first to break down boundaries, but all having had a tremendous impact on our culture and the future for females in America.
It’s for this reason we’re thrilled to be celebrating Leah Tinari’s latest book, Limitless, which provides stunning portraits that honor the groundbreaking achievements and indelible impact of 24 American women that have helped pave the way for generations to come. Join us for an evening of conversation with doula London King, interior designer Megan Pflug, activist Purva Panday Cullman and artist Leah Tinari – moderated by Gena Konstantinakos of VICE.
You’ve seen Tinari’s illustrations in the likes of The New Yorker, VICE, Spin, Elle and Paper magazines. She’s created campaigns for Nike and Mini Cooper and launched her custom sneaker biz Avenue Sea Creatures just last summer. She’s made kicks for everyone from Adriana Lima to Mark Hamill, Adrian Grenier to Caroline Vreeland and recently collaborated with our friends at Greats.
